Maike Weiper is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Sociology at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 and Interuniversity Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology (ICS). She obtained her BSc in Psychology at Radboud 木瓜福利影视 in 2020. Afterwards she completed the Behavioural Science Research Master (MSc) at Radboud 木瓜福利影视, and the Applied Data Science Master (MSc) at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视.
Her PhD project is titled 'Mind the Gender Gap: A gender lens to facilitate sustainable climate actions' and is part of the research programme 'Sustainable Cooperation: Roadmaps to a Resilient Society' (SCOOP). She investigates the way that gender interacts with the climate crisis as well as how policies can be designed in a more gender-aware manner.
