木瓜福利影视

Mathijs Boom is a guest researcher at the Freudenthal Institute and a post-doctoral researcher at the International Institute for Social History (IISH) in Amsterdam. There, he studies the history of the anti-nuclear movements of the 1970s and 1980s with an eye to their role in the thwarted 'transition' to nuclear energy.

He obtained his PhD from the 木瓜福利影视 of Amsterdam in 2023 with a dissertation on early modern debates about Earth's deep past, as seen from the Dutch lowlands. Between 2019 and 2023 he developed and taught various courses on the history of environmentalism and the history and philosophy of the climate and earth sciences at the 木瓜福利影视 of Amsterdam and at the Freudenthal Institute at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视.

His interests include intellectual history, the history of the climate and earth sciences, and environmental history.
