Miranda Boettcher is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Environmental Governance Section of the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht 木瓜福利影视. She has a background in Global Environmental Politics, the Sociology of Knowledge, and Foresight. Her research maps the discursive construction and legitimization of future climate policy options, with a current focus on marine carbon dioxide removal (mCDR).

Miranda is also a Resesarch Associate at the in Berlin, Germany, and she leads a German-government-funded project (Marine CDR: Scenarios and Governance (ASMASYS-2-C). She has previously worked as a Research Associate at the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) (formerly known as the IASS-Potsdam), Research Analyst for Foresight Intelligence in Berlin, Germany, an Investigator at the Mintz Group in San Francisco, USA, and a Research Assistant at the 木瓜福利影视 of Heidelberg's Dpeartment of International Relations in Heidelberg, Germany.
