I am a PhD candidate at the department Animals in Science and Society (ASS) of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. I work on improving risk assessments of animal welfare for dairy cows, with a specific focus on the accumulation of risk factors. For this, I study calves and, using sensordata, dairy cows throughout their lives. Additionally, I am working on a systematic review on the (long term) effects of disbudding.
