I am an external PhD candidate at the 木瓜福利影视 of Utrecht. In my daily life, I am the clerk of a city council. I am researching the effect of aggression against council members on the interpretation of council membership. In doing so, I look at the way in which council members assess and deal with aggression. As a basic theory I use the stress theory of Lazarus and Folkman, but also include other theoretical aspects such as the Big Five personality traits from psychology, coping strategies and concepts such as social support and manners. After interviewing a large number of council members, I conduct an analysis using the Q method and QCA. The first results of the study are expected in the course of 2025.
