Lisette Mustert is an Assistant Professor of Administrative Law at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, and a member of the Management Team of the Utrecht Centre for Regulation and Enforcement in Europe (RENFORCE). She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the NOVA Platform for European Administrative and Regulatory Law (NOVA PEARL) in Lisbon.
Her research explores the intersection of EU and national administrative law, with a focus on supervision and enforcement in the EU, composite administrative procedures, and the protection of fundamental rights, particularly the right to an effective judicial remedy. She also focuses on questions of effectiveness and good administration in EU law enforcement, especially in the field of digital regulation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the EU's Fit for the Digital Age Package. She has written several journal articles and book chapters, and presented her research findings at (international) conferences and seminars.
Lisette obtained her PhD from the 木瓜福利影视 of Luxembourg under the supervision of Professor Herwig Hofmann, with a dissertation on cross-border enforcement of the GDPR by independent administrative authorities, which was nominated for the Luxembourg Excellent Doctoral Thesis Award. She holds master鈥檚 degrees in European Law and Legal Research (cum laude) from Utrecht 木瓜福利影视.
At Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, Lisette teaches bachelor and master courses on EU and national administrative law, including Judicial Protection and Enforcement of EU Law, Digitalization and the Rule of Law, and Transnational Enforcement of the GDPR. She also serves on the board of examiners for the Bachelor in Law.
