Jelle Lammerts van Bueren is a Dutch historian connected to Utrecht 木瓜福利影视. He completed the Research Master's program in history at this university, and also studied at the Universit茅 Paris 1 Panth茅on-Sorbonne. He subsequently worked as a lecturer within the political history section at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视.
Currently, he is employed as a PhD candidate at Utrecht's political history section within his own research project 鈥淐ontesting Restrained Democracy.鈥� To this end, he researches the integration of referendum ideas and practices into the postwar Western European democratic model, with a special interest for the French, Italian, and British cases.
This project is funded by the Dutch Research Council (NWO) through the PhD in the Humanities competition. It is supervised by dr. P. Corduwener and prof. dr. I. de Haan.
