Dr. Inge Wouters obtained her Master of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen 木瓜福利影视, and her PhD degree from Utrecht 木瓜福利影视. She has contributed to more than 130 scientific publications. She is trained as an environmental epidemiologist with a strong emphasis on development and implementation of improved exposure assessment and modelling of bio-aerosols in epidemiological studies. She has a longstanding record in research studying exposures of biological agents in the workplace, indoor and environmental field. She was principle investigator of the environmental exposure assessment in studies focusing on  livestock related air pollution and neighboring residents health. She participated in several European Union (EU) funded studies in the field of environmental and occupational health enhancing exposure assessment of bio-aerosols and allergens in the workplace.  Currently, she focuses on advancing exposure assessment of viral exposures in the field of indoor air exposure, amongst others in various projects investing the impact of ventilation and air cleaning systems on airborne spread of viruses and other biologic agents.  Her teaching focuses on One Health issues, ultimately contributing to a better of the role of bio-aerosol exposures in these.

She is member of international scientific advisory board of the EMIMOD project which studies methods for determining emissions from diffuse area sources in the agricultural setting. She has been board member and treasurer of the Dutch epidemiological society. She is member of the Dutch normalization committee of workplace and environmental air pollution, and is member of European working groups considering standardization of bio-aerosol assessment in the workplace and the general environment.
