Han-Yu (Erik) is an innovative and inquisitive coastal engineer fascinated by the interplay of hydrodynamic and sediment processes in shaping coastal environments. He obtained his MSc in Civil Engineering from Delft 木瓜福利影视 of Technology, where he specialized in nearshore hydrodynamics, morphology, and nature-based solutions for coastal resilience.
Erik is currently a PhD candidate at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, focusing on coastal delta sustainability. His research quantitatively assesses the effectiveness of sedimentation-enhancing strategies in global deltas under climate-change impacts. By developing computational geomorphological models, he aims to evaluate prospect sedimentation management and design multi-pathway adaptation strategies to address future challenges of sea-level rise and climate change, contributing to innovative perspectives on delta sustainability.
