Since 2024, Elise has been working at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 as the Executive Director of the YOUth study.

Background Elise studied psychobiology at the 木瓜福利影视 of Amsterdam and earned her PhD in clinical neuroscience at UMC Utrecht, where she conducted research on brain development during and after pregnancy. Her research primarily focused on fetal and neonatal MRI in healthy children (YOUth Cohort) and children from the neonatology department.

After completing her PhD, she pursued a postdoc at Tilburg 木瓜福利影视, where she focused on EEG and behavioral research on the bond between mother and child. At the end of 2023, she returned to Utrecht to continue her postdoc at the Wilhelmina Children's Hospital.
