Diana Odier-Contreras is Assistant Professor of International Criminal Law and International Human Rights Law at 木瓜福利影视 College Utrecht (UCU), and a Fellow at the Netherlands Institute of Human Rights (SIM), Utrecht 木瓜福利影视. Her expertise lies in the fields of reparations, international human rights, international criminal law, and transitional justice.

At UCU, Diana coordinates the Double Degree in Law and Liberal Arts & Sciences and serves as Law Track Coordinator for the Liberal Arts & Sciences (LAS) program. In this capacity, she oversees the academic coherence and development of law courses, several of which she has designed herself. She also facilitates ongoing dialogue on teaching and learning with staff and student representatives, hosts biannual legal methodology workshops for LAS students, and supervises both bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 theses in law.

Diana obtained her PhD in 2018, which was published as a monograph by Intersentia under the title Collective Reparations: Tensions and Dilemmas between Collective Reparations and the Individual Right to Receive Reparation. Her current research focuses on two primary areas: the intersection of assisted reproductive technologies and human rights, and the role of digital open-source information in promoting accountability for severe human rights violations.

She has held teaching and research positions in international human rights law throughout the Netherlands. She has been a visiting scholar at the International Victimology Institute Tilburg (INTERVICT) and a visiting professional at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in Costa Rica. Diana has taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels across various departments at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, and has delivered guest lectures and workshops at institutions in the Netherlands and abroad.

Diana is also affiliated with the Montaigne Centre for Rule of Law and Administration of Justice and is a member of the Association Internationale De Droit P茅nal (AIDP). Her academic work is informed by a strong commitment to interdisciplinary education, student engagement, and critical approaches to justice and accountability.
