More generally, Clara's research interests include agriculture and food regulation, the regulatory and policy space of Member States in the EU, and the role of law in favouring capitalist interests.

Next to her research, Clara is involved in various academic activities. Since November 2024, she has been a reviewer for the European Journal of Legal Studies (EJLS), and since spring 2025, she has been a member of the PhD Council and the PhD Law Forum at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视.
