During my masters in Psychology at the 木瓜福利影视 of Amsterdam, I found my passion for Psychological Methods and interdisciplinary research. I am specifically interested in human decision-making and how we can explain and predict it using computational modelling.

As a researcher in the COMPOSE project, I employ spatial agent-based modelling (ABM) to examine how different interventions, and especially their combinations, affect dietary and health outcomes at the population level. A central focus is on identifying the conditions under which these measures can improve diet quality to address current risks of rising obesity and non-communicable disease levels. This project has three key aims: (1) to design and calibrate an ABM capable of capturing heterogeneous food choice behaviors including the effects of social dynamics and spatial context; (2) to test the combined effects of interventions; and (3) to compare ABM-based projections with results from traditional health impact models. I am especially excited to work on this project with an interdisciplinary team where we combine the expertise of computational and spatial modelling (UU) with epidemiology and health research (Amsterdam UMC).
