Chide Groenouwe is deeply devoted to developing collective intelligence systems in service of a more wise, ecologically balanced, fair and creative world. Such systems consist of sophisticated blends of human, technological and environmental ingredients with the purpose of enhancing the collective intelligence of humanity. Some related fields are: crowdsourcing, hybrid human and artificial intelligence, socio-technological systems, socio-ecological-technological systems.
These systems are needed more than ever: we need effective instruments to realise a new balance among humans, and between humans and their environment. A balance that expresses compassion, respect and consideration for each other and for all life.
Such systems are not only needed, but also desirable, as instruments to facilitate the growth of collective creativity, collective problem solving skills, compassion and our capability to live truly meaningful lives.
He is the executive director and principal researcher/innovator of the Nanquanu Institute for collective intelligence. Nanquanu is an independent institute with the societal mission of doing research into and development of collective intelligence systems for a more creative and wise world. Nanquanu maintains close ties with academic and related research institutes.
