I am a PhD candidate at the Institute for Cultural Inquiry of Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ. My research project ‘Negotiating past and present-day injustices in cultural heritage spaces’ was awarded the NWO Mosaic 2.0 grant. In this project, I examine how colonial legacies are addressed by diverse actors within cultural heritage spaces in the Netherlands and the Caribbean, and how these efforts can contribute to driving sustained societal change toward justice.

I am an active member of the (ACHS), where I initiated and co-coordinate the research chapter.
