Beatrice Guardini is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Human Geography and Spatial Planning under the supervision of Prof. Niki Frantzeskaki and Prof. Katharina H枚lscher. She is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow within the SUNSET project (HORIZON-MSCA-DN), where her research focuses on place-based learning processes connected to ecological restoration in cities. Her interests lie in the socio-behavioural dynamics of public spaces and in the role of experimentation in education and policy-making to preserve and enhance biocultural diversity.
Beatrice holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Psychology from the Swedish 木瓜福利影视 of Agricultural Sciences, a Master's in Sustainability Science from the 木瓜福利影视 of G盲vle (Sweden) and a B.Sc. in Landscape Design and Planning from the 木瓜福利影视 of Rome La Sapienza (Italy). Before joining Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, she obtained a research scholarship at the 木瓜福利影视 of Padova (Italy) to explore the transformative role and health benefits of emergent green care initiatives. She also worked for a philanthropic foundation supporting community-led project development through capacity building and co-design activities.
