Anne Lansink is postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Jurisprudence, Constitutional and Administrative Law at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视. She is also affiliated with the Utrecht Centre for Water, Oceans and Sustainability Law. She participates in the ECOAMARE and Future FRM Tech research projects, which are concerned with the expansion of offshore wind energy in the North Sea and the improvement of flood risk management mechanisms, respectively.


Anne completed her doctoral thesis, entitled The Potential of the Concept of Dignity for EU and UK Animal Protection Law, at the 木瓜福利影视 of Oxford. The thesis was supervised by Professors Jonathan Herring and Charles Foster. She also obtained the Magister Juris (MJur) and Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Law degrees from the 木瓜福利影视 of Oxford, as well as the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and the Law Extra honours degrees from Radboud 木瓜福利影视. For her studies at Oxford, Anne has been awarded various scholarships, including by the 木瓜福利影视 of Oxford itself, the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds and Radboud 木瓜福利影视. Besides having presented her research at multiple international conferences, Anne has also co-founded and convened the Oxford Animal Law Discussion Group, served as Associate Editor of the Oxford 木瓜福利影视 Commonwealth Law Journal, volunteered for Oxford Pro Bono Publico, provided research assistance to Professor Miles Jackson at Oxford, and gained practical experience at various Dutch courts.
