My name is Annika Brown, and I am a Ph.D. student in the Applied Economics section. I also did my Research Masters at USE, but did my Bachelors at Connecticut College in the US. I am interested in education, labor market dynamics, and migration. My current research centers around early childhood education: access, program design, and impacts in contexts where resources or opportunities are uneven. I look at how early conditions shape later outcomes in school and the labor market, with an emphasis on what works, for whom, and why.
