Wouter Botzen is full Professor of Economics of Global Environmental Change at the Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 School of Economics. Moreover, he is Professor of Economics of Climate Change and Natural Disasters, and Head at the Department of Environmental Economics, Institute for Environmental Studies, VU 木瓜福利影视 Amsterdam. He is a senior research fellow at the Risk Management and Decision Processes Center at the Wharton School of the 木瓜福利影视 of Pennsylvania.
His main research interests are climate change economics with a particular focus on risk, economics of natural disasters, behavioural economics, and valuation of nature and the environment. He has published widely on these themes in international scientific journals.
