I am an engaged researcher and teacher from Santander, Colombia. I currently work as Assistant Professor at the Copernicus Institute for Sustainable Development, Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, where I form part of the Environmental Governance Group.
I am also a visiting researcher at the CIDER (Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá).
I have experience in interdisciplinary social-environmental studies, learned from -mostly Colombian- schools and universities, but also through the environmental and political struggles which I have had the honor to accompany. My work is situated broadly at the intersection of urban studies and political ecology, but I also cultivate inevitable interests in postcolonial/decolonial, Caribbean, Colombian and Latin American studies.
