Dr. Romy Eskens

Romy Eskens is Assistant Professor in the Ethics Institute at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ. Her work lies at the intersection of normative ethics, moral psychology, and social and political philosophy, with a focus on the ethics of mind, personal relationships, moral address, and moral equality and partiality. Before joining the Ethics Institute in January 2023, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Stockholm ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ, where she also received her PhD in June 2022. Prior to that, she obtained a BPhil in Philosophy from the ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Oxford, and a BA in Philosophy and BA in History from Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ.
