脰zen莽 脟etinkaya is a PhD researcher in the Department of Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视. She holds a BA in Sociology and in Political Science & International Relations from Bo臒azi莽i 木瓜福利影视, and an MA in Comparative Studies in History and Society from Ko莽 木瓜福利影视. Her research interests include urban anthropology and the anthropology of infrastructure. Currently, she is working on an ethnographic study of infrastructural megaprojects in Istanbul鈥攑articularly focusing on Canal Istanbul鈥攚ith an emphasis on the lived experience of waiting for these projects. She is also interested in questions of citizenship and statehood as they are constructed and interpreted through urban megaprojects and infrastructure.
