Research focus: bilingualism, family language practices, academic performance

External PhD in education and linguistics. Her PhD research focuses on how family language practices and school language practices shape children鈥檚 language proficiency and language dominance, and how these in turn affect academic performance in the Maltese context. Her work relies on quantitative methods and data analysis to identify patterns and predictors of success in bilingual students.
