Nikita Divissenko is an Assistant Professor at the International and European Law Department of the Utrecht School of Law. He coordinates the Master's Programme ‘Law and Technology in Europe’ and co-teaches the course ‘EU Digital Innovation and Regulation’. Nikita's research focuses on the intersection of digital finance, regulation and technological innovation. He is the author of ‘’ (Hart, 2025).
Nikita obtained his PhD from the European ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ Institute (EUI) in 2022, and holds LLM degrees in International, European and Comparative Law (EUI) and in European Law from Leiden ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ (cum laude). Prior to joining Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ he was a research associate at the Florence School of Banking & Finance (Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies).
