Dr Federica Agostini is Assistant Professor in the International and European Law Department at the School of Law. Her research predominantly focuses on the role of law in mobilising capital markets toward sustainability goals. She also specialises in corporate governance and EU financial regulation.
Before joining Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, Federica worked as a Research Associate at the European 木瓜福利影视 Institute's Florence School of Banking and Finance, where she contributed to research and executive training activities in the area of sustainable finance, climate risks and green bonds. Additionally, she served as an external consultant for the European Central Bank on a training programme related to the relevance of climate and nature risks for central banks and banking supervisors.
Previously, Federica worked as a Research and Teaching Associate at the 木瓜福利影视 of Glasgow and at the Italian National Central Bank. She also acted as a consultant for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on the design of policy products to advance green finance.
Federica holds a Ph.D. as well as an LL.M. in Corporate and Financial Law (with distinction) from the 木瓜福利影视 of Glasgow. She also graduated cum laude from a combined Bachelor鈥檚 and Master鈥檚 Degree in Law, specialising in EU and Comparative Law, from the 木瓜福利影视 of Trento.
