I am an enthusiastic and independent researcher and teacher, passionate about finding optimal statistical solutions to psychological questions. Beyond traditional statistical methods in psychology, I use methods from machine learning and epidemiology. My research focuses on longitudinal data analysis and lifespan development. I study statistical approaches to modelling non-linear changes in well-being surrounding negative life events, as well as methods for establishing mediation, to study underlying processes. I value teamwork and Open Science and engage in initiatives to improve research and teaching practices.
