B谩rbara Oliveira Soares is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Human Geography and Spatial Planning at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, under the supervision of Dr. Krisztina Varr贸, Dr. Irina van Aalst, and Dr. Ilse van Liempt. Her research focuses on exploring current gender-sensitive and feminist planning practices in the Netherlands.
B谩rbara holds a B.Sc. in Politics, Psychology, Law, and Economics (PPLE) from the 木瓜福利影视 of Amsterdam, and M.Sc. degrees in Urban Geography as well as Urban and Regional Planning, also from the 木瓜福利影视 of Amsterdam. Before joining Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, she received a research fellowship at the Urban Cycling Institute and worked as a visiting fellow at the 木瓜福利影视 of Amsterdam, where she investigated equity and mobility justice in active transportation in Amsterdam.
