Dr. Anna Laskai is an Assistant Professor of Criminology at the Willem Pompe Institute of Criminal Law and Criminology at the 木瓜福利影视 of Utrecht, holding a BA in Sociology from the 木瓜福利影视 of Szeged, an MA in Criminology from the Eötvös Loránd 木瓜福利影视, and an LL.M. in Forensics, Criminology and Law from Maastricht 木瓜福利影视 (Cum Laude).
Anna completed her Ph.D. within the Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctoral Program in Cultural and Global Criminology, supervised by Eötvös Loránd 木瓜福利影视 and Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 (Summa Cum Laude). Her dissertation, conducted in Hungary and the Netherlands, examined relationships fostered by medical professionals and the pharmaceutical industry. Studying both financial and non-financial conflicts of interest, her research discussed how institutional corruption is manifest within industry-medicine relationships.
Anna's research focusses on healthcare and criminality, organizational, corporate and white collar crime, corruption, fraud and money-laundering (CAMS). She has published research on the online propagation of health related conspiracy theories, as well as undue influence in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors.
