Archer BUISSINK is a PhD candidate at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ researching the regulation of platform work and how it challenges relations between market, state and technology in the Netherlands, France, and Germany. His previous studies were in sociology at Victoria ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Wellington and the ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Waikato, and in French and German at the ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Auckland. Alongside the impact of technology and algorithms on work, employment, and governance in the European context, Buissink is interested in the sociology of work, and the history of social theory.
