Biography

Dr. Yurong Wen is a Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ in China, where his lab focuses on the mechanisms of bacterial infection and employs a single-domain antibody approach for bacterial toxin diagnosis and neutralization. Dr. Wen earned his PhD in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Ghent ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ in Belgium in 2014, where he received extensive training in nanobody technology. After returning to China, he and his collaborator established one of the first nanobody platform in China.

Prof. Wen has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers in prominent journals such as Science Advances, Cell Reports, Angewandte Chemie, Nucleic Acids Research, Nature Communications and Journal of the American Chemical Society. He has also been invited to summarize the development and application of single-domain antibody in biotechnology and biopharma in Immunological Reviews. Prof. Wen is the co-founder of HINT BioPharma Co. Ltd. in Zhejiang, China, a company dedicated to health innovation through single-domain antibody technology.
