Biography

Joe Watson is currently a co-founder of Xaira Therapeutics, leading a London-based team training generative models for de novo therapeutic antibody design. Prior to Xaira, Joe was a postdoc with David Baker, leading the development of RFdiffusion, and methods for the atomically-accurate design of de novo single- and paired-chain antibodies. Joe received his PhD from the ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Cambridge under the supervision of Emmanuel Derivery, using designed proteins to probe and manipulate cellular signalling.
