Biography

Hervé Nozach holds a PhD from Montpellier SupAgro (2008) and an engineering degree in agronomy (2005). He has been a researcher at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) since 2013 and has led a team in the Cellular Immunogenicity and Biotechnology Laboratory since 2020.

His expertise focuses on molecular engineering and high-throughput antibody screening. In 2016, he introduced the Yeast Surface Display technique to enable functional screening of antibodies for therapeutic and diagnostic applications. He developed integrated platforms combining high-throughput screening with NGS-based Deep Mutational Scanning to guide antibody affinity maturation, specificity optimization, and de-immunization strategies. He is also the co-founder of the start-up Deeptope and holds a Habilitation (HDR) in biochemistry.
