Translational electrophysiological phenotypes of cognition and behavior

As the brain is central to the study of cognition, neuropsychiatric traits and behavior in all species, it is important to obtain standardized measures of brain activity. New sophisticated analysis of EEG recordings can provide such measures. The goal of this project is to identify translational EEG endophenotypes in mice and man and link them to cross-species genetic findings on behavioral and cognitive traits including psychiatric disorders.
