Elise Boersma-van Dam
Elise Boersma-van Dam is a PhD candidate at the department of Clinical Psychology and at the Association of Dutch Burn Centres in Beverwijk. She studies the psychological consequences of burn injuries with a focus on posttraumatic stress and depressive symptoms in interpersonal context. She uses a prospective longitudinal approach to study the effects and interpersonal processes in patients and their partners in the aftermath of a burn injury. Elise Boersma-van Dam is supervised by prof. dr. Iris Engelhard, prof. dr. Rinie Geenen, prof. dr. Rens van de Schoot and dr. Nancy van Loey.
