Book release: Networks in Climate
Network theory has many applications to climate variability phenomena, such as the El Ni帽o-Southern Oscillation and the Indian Monsoon. Together with a group of international researchers, Prof Henk Dijkstra from Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 recently published a book on this topic.
The book 鈥淣etworks in Climate鈥 provides an overview of recent results obtained with these techniques, and shows the potential of complex networks for further development and research.

Experts from different fields
The book summarises the main results of the LINC project, funded by the European Commission under the FP7 program. This project鈥檚 aim was to improve our understanding of the Earth鈥檚 complex climate phenomena by approaching the problem from a complex systems interdisciplinary perspective. To that end, it has brought together experts from different fields such as physics, dynamical systems theory, computer science, and earth sciences.
