Researchers, an NGO, and residents of Moyaneng in South Africa have worked together in a unique approach to transdisciplinary research with direct impact on local communities.

Delving into the complexities of waste management on campus, insights from ‘living lab’ research connecting research, education and operations hope to shift the university’s waste management paradigm.
The NAE is a new initiative that brings together Dutch leading experts and innovators in science. It receives financial support from the Dutch Ministries of Education, Culture, and Science, as well as the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate.
