From now on, the university will go for maximum reuse of furniture for office use and education. This will be achieved by means of second-life or circular furniture. The ambition is that eventually, no new furniture will be purchased at all.
Dr Esther Stouthamer has been appointed by the Executive Board of Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ as professor Delta Evolution and Subsurface Processes in the department of Physical Geography.
Kees Koedijk joined Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ last year as professor Sustainable Finance. He studies the effects of climate change on the investments in shares and bonds of large investors such as pension funds and insurance companies.
