Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ plans to be zero waste by 2030. With research and teaching laboratories, restaurants, and hundreds of offices, this is no small task. Delving into the complexities of waste management on campus, insights from ‘living lab’ research connecting research, education and operations hope to shift the university’s waste management paradigm.
This morning, a club of UU staff planted some 65 m2 of organically grown flower bulbs in the flower boxes in front of the old cogeneration plant on Princetonlaan.
The NAE is a new initiative that brings together Dutch leading experts and innovators in science. It receives financial support from the Dutch Ministries of Education, Culture, and Science, as well as the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate.
