About Green Office Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ
Green Office Utrecht Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ (GOUU) is the central hub where fresh minds and hands come together to support Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ’s sustainable development. The Green Office makes the university’s policy tangible in the everyday reality of its students and staff members by informing them, involving them and empowering them to act.

The Tree Fund and Graduation Tree
The Tree Tund is a collaborative project between the UU's Green Office, the Alumni Office and the ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ Council. The fund stimulates biodiversity and contributes to the sustainability goals of the ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ by planting trees in and outside of the USP. Next to that, every year a tree will be revealed in the Botanical Gardens as a gift for all students that graduate that year. Hereby, we create a space for alumni to meet each other. Furthermore, you will be encouraged to increase the scope and ambition of the Tree Fund project. This entails supporting and inspiring a small team of volunteers to contribute to the project in ways that are compatible but additional to the fund.
