Physicist Tom Dooney developed DeepExtractor, a fast AI tool for cleaning gravitational wave data that helps scientists ‘hear’ the universe better.
Her aim is to uncover how the loss of Arctic sea ice impacts melting of surrounding glaciers. Specifically, she will look at the effects of the rapid loss of sea ice in the Last Ice Area, which harbours the Arctic's oldest ice.
The study is the first publication based on data collected in the long-term Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ Biodiversity and Climate Variability Experiment (UU BioCliVE).
