Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 strives for a more diverse student population. We cannot achieve this goal by ourselves. Concrete actions are needed to achieve a greater influx of underrepresented groups and to ensure they feel more welcome and at home at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视. The aim of the DIS (Diversity: Intake and Selection) project is to contribute to the realization of a culture at the UU in which all prospective students, regardless of their background and characteristics, feel welcome during the application, registration and selection process. This is an important condition to ensure that there are no obstacles to following a university BA or MA course at the UU.
The Knowledge Database of the DIS project is not intended to shape intake and selection in a specific way. It mainly wants to enable the study programmes to develop plans themselves that they can achieve the goal of a more diverse intake: this platform has been developed for this purpose and is intended for the employees and student (organizations) of the UU that play a role in processes related to intake and selection, and who want to work on these processes from perspective of D&I. Working on diversity and inclusion and linking this to concrete actions can be experienced as an abstract task. That is why we have tried to provide as many concrete tools as possible with this knowledge database to take steps. These are small steps that hopefully allow you to take action today!
