Special Interest Group LASS
Researchers who participate in the LASS SIG are interested in all aspects of language acquisition between infancy and adolescence. We meet once a month online for about one hour to present our own work, practice a presentation, discuss ongoing research as well as future plans, get inspired by a colleague from outside the Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, and share experiences, challenges, tips, and tricks. We share with each other both work in advanced stages as well as work in progress or first ideas. This is a great place to get first feedback and get inspired.
LASS is low-threshold and interest-driven. We welcome staff and students from different disciplines. That is also how LASS started a couple of years ago when we noticed that at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 there is a vibrant cross-disciplinary language acquisition community. The acronym LASS was thought to reflect this, as it stood for 鈥淟inguistics And Social Sciences鈥. However, LASS may just as well refer to 鈥淟anguage Acquisition Scholars and Studies鈥.
