Special Interest Group Inclusive Education
The Special Interest Group (SIG) on Inclusive Education brings together colleagues from the DEEDS department and other departments (ranging from Educational Sciences to Biomedical Sciences) who share an interest in inclusive education. We define inclusion in a broad sense, encompassing the participation and representation of minority groups and diverse communities across many dimensions of education. The group explores where inclusion succeeds, where challenges remain, and how practical interventions can make a difference. The group provides a small, supportive setting in which colleagues can learn from one another and exchange ideas on a topic of shared importance.
