NWO has awarded a total of 16 Rubicon grants to young researchers, among which Sjon Hartman, Hebatalla Elnaggar and João Silva.

On 16 September Anne-Eva Nieuwelink will defend her PhD at both Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ and the ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Twente (UT).

Heineken Young Scientist Award winner Freddy Rabouw will give a lecture about his research for the general public (in Dutch) on Saturday September 12, 2020 during ‘Open Monumentendag’.

NWO Domain Science has awarded applications in the Open Competition XS to Razvan Cioc (Chemistry) and Suzan Ruijtenberg (Biology).

The researchers hope that the breast milk may be used as a medicine for vulnerable corona patients.
