Yvonne Wiggers to be the new Director of Communications
As of 1 February 2024, Yvonne Wiggers will be the new Director of Communications of Utrecht 木瓜福利影视. She is currently the Deputy Director of Communications at the Dutch Ministry of Finance. She will succeed Jeroen Hellenberg, who was the Acting Director of Communications in the past year.
Yvonne Wiggers started her career as a journalist at the Twentsche Courant/Tubantia and worked as a parliamentary reporter in The Hague at the ANP and the AD for twelve years. After that, she switched to communications and worked at, among other places, the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security, the municipality of Utrecht and the Dutch Bar association (The Netherlands Bar).
Wiggers is looking forward to working at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视. She loves to work in a complex playing field. 鈥淭his way, I feel even more challenged to keep communications clear and simple. Because no matter how good the intentions of an organisation can be, if they aren't understood, we achieve nothing.鈥

Yvonne Wiggers' career
Yvonne Wiggers studied History and Journalism in Groningen. She started her career as a journalist at the Twentsche Courant/Tubantia. After that, she spent twelve years working as a parliamentary reporter in The Hague at the ANP and the AD 鈥 where she also led the parliamentary newsdesk for two years. She then was a Communications Manager at the Dutch Bar association (The Netherlands Bar) and Acting Department Head of Communications and Speeches at the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security. In 2018, she worked for the municipality of Utrecht as a spokesperson of Mayor Van Zanen and for the past five years, she was the Deputy Director of Communications at the Dutch Ministry of Finance.
