Webinar for the UU executive course on public procurement law
In October, the first webinar was held for the UU executive course on public procurement law (‘Aanbestedingsrecht voor de Inkooppraktijk’). This successful course is coordinated by prof. Elisabetta Manunza (PPRC, Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ) and prof. Jan Telgen (PPRC, ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Twente).
The executive program takes place twice a year and consists of nine interdisciplinary face-to-face meetings on public procurement law. For the first time, three facultative webinars have been added to the program. These Dutch webinars are used to train legal skills by interactively discussing signed-in homework assignments.
Over twenty participants logged into the program ‘Adobe Connect’ via their work or home computer, and were able to use their webcam and microphone to ask questions and discuss legal issues with their peers. Their first responses afterwards were positive and the team of lecturers is looking forward to optimizing this aspect of the course in the next few months.
The first webinar was hosted and lectured by mr. Willem Janssen (PPRC, Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ) and supported by mr. Lesley Fisscher (scientific accountmanager Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance). The next webinar is scheduled for 16 November.
