Dynamics of Youth organised 23 June a successful Launch Event in Paushuize Utrecht. A wide representation of interdisciplinary UU and UMCU researchers assembled in several interactive sessions, for inspirational meet ups and discussions. They reflected on what has been achieved since the start of the strategic theme: research projects that form the basis for the transition to four new Dynamics of Youth research domains; Early Childhood, Thriving & Healthy Youth, Youth Education & Life Skills and Becoming adults in a Changing World.

As Catrin Finkenauer, Programme director of Dynamics of Youth, summarised in her speech: “We are standing on the shoulders of giants.” In the afternoon, the newly appointed domain chairs of the research domains greeted the research community. They also collaborated with the participants to explore new initiatives, suggestions and ideas for research projects in the coming years.
