The EWUU alliance has secured €2.8 million through the national DECIDE project, which seeks to democratise artificial intelligence and promote transparent decision-making.

As a key partner, Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ will receive €1 million to lead research on explainable AI, citizen engagement, and practical applications in health, mobility, and education. Researchers Sanne Abeln, Wilson Santos Silva, Mehdi Dastani, Roxana Radulescu, Albert Salah, Rens van de Schoot will drive this work, ensuring that AI innovations are inclusive, trustworthy, and responsive to society’s needs.
