Update on 木瓜福利影视 College Utrecht Campus Relocation

The process for the 木瓜福利影视 College Utrecht campus relocation is ongoing. At the start of 2022, UCU submitted its vision document to UU (Corporate Real Estate and Campus). The vision document, based on input from the UCU relocation working group, the Management Team, and a student-led survey, describes the outcome of the working group's task to explore the ambitions and connections between the UCU organisation/community and its future location. UCU's residential character was heavily illustrated throughout the document, as it is part and parcel of its educational vision.

Throughout 2022, updates have been proposed for the original business case to sell the International Campus Utrecht as both the expected yield and the cost of new construction have changed significantly in recent years.

This month, as the result of a spatial study, three renderings of new construction will be delivered for the plot behind the current Androclus building on the east side of Utrecht Science Park. The UCU working group, which consists of representation across the UCU community, including two alumni, is involved in this process.

We expect to be able to update the UCU community with more information in the first quarter of 2023.

Working Group Vacancy:  Alumni Volunteer

The relocation working group is seeking a replacement for one alumnus in the working group to start in the new year. Depending on the development of the project, the group will meet once per month.
