UGlobe Flagship Deep Transitions nominated for Pathways to Sustainability Award
During the Pathways of Sustainability Conference, an award will be given to one research project combining the strengths of Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ research with the agendas of external stakeholders for the benefit of a sustainable future for all.
One of UGlobe's flagship initiatives was nominated: Deep Transitions.
Deep Transitions: The world needs tremendous investments to achieve a 1,5deg scenario. But simply investing more is not enough. This project collaborated with a global panel of public and private investors to develop principles, tools and metrics for financing transformative investment.
During the Conference on the 4th April 2023, the winner will be anounced. Besides the honour and recognition, this prize comes with €2500,- to further invest in the project or its follow-up.
